There was a father, buying a stack of wrapping papers.
His little daughter which was still a toddler asked a piece from him.
"What for?" the father asked.
"For present, I want to give a present" the little one answered.
"Well, don't waste it, okay" the father then reminded her while gave her a piece.
Early in the morning the little one woke up and woke her father up.
"Dad...Dad...I have a present for you."
The father which was still sleeping with his eyes closed answered, "Okay...later I'll take a look."
The little one didn't give up trying to wake her father up,
"Dad...Dad...get up please...The sun is shining brightly now."
He then recognised the wrapping paper he gave to his daughter.
"What present is it?" The father asked.
"This present is for dad. Please open it up now, Dad." The little one replied.
And the father opened up the present.
To his surprise, it was empty. Yeah, an empty box.
"There is nothing inside my dear. You are naughty, huh"
"Well, you have wasted my expensive wrapping paper, dear."
The little one replied, "It's not empty, Dad. Just now I've put in a lot of my kiss for Daddy."
The father was touched. He then lifted his daughter up, hugged, and kissed her.
"My dear, I've never received such a beautiful present before."
"I will always keep this box, bring it to the office, and I will take one of your kiss out
when I need your kiss yah."
"Please fill it with your kiss again once it's empty yah"
***
The empty box which once was thought worthless, now is filled with a priceless gift.
Well, the box which has its highest price in front of the father, may be worthless in front of others.
Other people will still treat it as an empty box.
Emptiness to a person may be treated as non-emptiness to others, and vice versa.
Emptiness and non-emptiness are the product of our mind.
The same applies to our life.
Our life will be meaningful when we give a meaning to it.
To those who did not give a meaning, the life is like a piece of empty paper.
